Advertising the new wiki projects

Clubchloe1 November 2, 2012 User blog:Clubchloe1

Help us advertise to other users the new wiki projects! First off, I'll make a template that advertises the wiki's new projects, and for you guys who are reading this, spread the word! Lets make this the best Okami focused encyclopedia!

Templates

Use on an template with rounded corners {{project roundy ad}}, be sure that the templates code is between the <noinclude> and </noinclude> tags! Use {{project improve ad}} on the top of an article to advertise to other users that this wiki is undergoing a major improvement!

For administrators

Please add to the news section on the main page the two new projects! And also, please get up some RSS codes for this wiki to make it have rounded corners everywhere!

To do list for Project improve

  1. Add {{project improve ad}} template to all articles!
  2. Afterwards, get working on the Phase III of project improve! *
  3. Once Phase III is done, get working on Phase IV, this phase is going to make the images used on this wiki better (see the section below this one for more information).

Phase IV

Well, I figured I just put this in the same post, Phase IV of Project improve is getting all images on this wiki transparent! Also, this phase will be introducing summary templates! Summary templates are template made to be used on the summary section of an image. Please also note, all images after this phase should have summary sections, and have both the notice templates and summary templates, example:

==Summary==
The summary part here should include the summary template, and the notice templates, if theres none that will fit it, then just make it in text!
==Licensing==
The licensing template here.

Additionally, all images after this phase should be converted to PNG file type. Do not re-upload the picture and save it as PNG, its does not work like that.

To do list for project roundy

  1. Add {{project roundy ad}} to all rounded cornered templates! Be sure its between the <noinclude> and </noinclude> tags! Done!
  2. Look at all colored templates to make sure they have rounded corners, and if they don't, then replace the non-text appearance template code with <div name="Deletion notice" class="boilerplate metadata" id="delete" style="background-color:#<insert background color template here>; margin:1em; padding:0 10px; border:1px solid #<insert border color template here>; {{roundy}}">, where you replace the text between the < and > with color templates (the most fitting one, or the one that closest matches the original background color). Done! After project roundy, all colored templates made should be with rounded corners. Heres the code for an easy rounded corner colored templates: <div name="Deletion notice" class="boilerplate metadata" id="delete" style="background-color:#<insert background color template here>; margin:1em; padding:0 10px; border:1px solid #<insert border color template here>; {{roundy}}"> and put in the parts with the < and > color templates.
