Time Of Parting
Album: Ōkami Original Soundtrack
Length: 1:23
Composer: Hiroshi Yamaguchi
Previous song: Promise
Next song: A Resolute Person
Time Of Parting is the seventeenth track on disc four of the Ōkami Original Soundtrack. It is first played in Agata Forest, after Amaterasu successfully caught the Whopper, but the dog of Kokari, Ume has seemingly died. This soundtrack is played at several occasions later, when sadness is predominant in the atmosphere, most notably when Amaterasu has to depart from Issun to enter the Ark of Yamato, the point of no return.

Trivia

  • Even though Time Of Parting was first played in Agata Forest, after fishing out the Whopper, the Ōkami Original Soundtrack lists it in disc four, at the end of Ōkami, played as Amaterasu departs from Issun into the Ark of Yamato.
    • It is possible that the producers want to list this track at a more important point in the plot than when Kokari cries for Ume.
