Talking With The Painting God
115 Talking with the Painting God
Album: Ōkami Original Soundtrack
Length: 0:48
Composer: Hiroshi Yamaguchi
Previous song: Painting God Appearance
Next song: Painting Piece
Talking With The Painting God is the fifteenth track on the first disc of the Ōkami Original Soundtrack. The track plays when Amaterasu and Chibiterasu speak to a Celestial Brush god. It also plays when saving the game in Ōkami.

The music is played with several woodwind instruments, stringed instruments and some clapping of the hyoshigi.

The music has an "echoing" effect. It is rather repetitive in every chorus, starting out with some plucking of the kugo and tonkori, rests for a while and then continues rather consistently. The sound of the shakuhachi can be heard with a slow, continuous rhythm and followed-up by two clapping of the hyoshigi. The music evokes a rather mystifying mood and the feeling of greatness and purity inside.
