Take (竹ノ介?; Takenosuke), also known as Gi (義狗?; Gikō; dog of righteousness) was one of the three Canine Warriors that refused to return to Princess Fuse, due to his purpose of protecting the Sparrow Clan from forces of darkness. Take/Gi is a Husky.
Strategy
Edit
Take isn't extremely difficult, but there are some things to look out for. When Take lunges forward once, Amaterasu should jump away to avoid the attack, or execute well-timed Sub-Reflector Counterattack. If Take howls before he attacks, he will execute a series of lunges that Amaterasu will need to continually dodge or defend against until Take stops. Take will also sometimes turn his back on Amaterasu and dig a hole. When this happens, the best thing to do is jump out of the way as pebbles will be thrown at her. Also she should avoid the hole afterwards because if she steps in the hole Take will urinate on her and take away her ink, which is rather annoying. Amaterasu can use Cherry Bomb to stun Take if he uses this single lunge. Take will get dizzy with enough attacks.
Trivia
Edit
- This is one of the few Canine Warriors that has no Karmic Transformer.
- One of Amaterasu's alternate costumes in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is Gi.
- According to the Sparrow Clan, Take is just as childish as Tai[Citation needed].
