Partners are humans who ride on Amaterasu and Chibiterasu's back. They are more seen in Ōkamiden, and will fight alongside Chibiterasu when battling demons.

- In Ōkami, the only partner that fights alongside Amaterasu is Rao, while in Ōkamiden, all partners that Chibiterasu joins with fights with him.
- In Ōkamiden, they not only fight with Chibiterasu, but also have combo attacks if Chibiterasu makes a combo when fighting demons.
- In Ōkamiden, if a partner deals the killing blow to a demon, then there is no way to get a Floral Finisher on the said demon.
