The Moon (月^?, Tsuki) is a location mentioned in the Ōkami series. It was home to the Moon Tribe until the Moon Tribe cataclysm left Waka, Kaguya and Sugawara as the only survivors. The cataclysm likely occurred more than 200 years before the event of Ōkami as it caused Waka to flee to the Celestial Plain in the Ark of Yamato, a large vessel built by the Moon Tribe. The tribe also constructed the rocket used by Kaguya.

Yumigami is the Celestial Brush god of the Moon and grants the Crescent brush technique. Crescent allows the user to summon the Moon and turn day into night. When it's already nighttime, the night will be reset back to its beginning. This is great for farming, as Demon Scrolls appear more at night and they also follow Amaterasu around for a longer distance.
