This is Miko Cho from Himiko Shrine-- the leader of all the Miko! She protects the city now that Queen Himiko is gone.

Kagu

Miko Cho is a woman in Ōkamiden. She is the leader of all Miko, or humans that have attained significant spiritual powers, and is Sei'an City's current protector after the late Queen Himiko.

History[]

Background[]

Not much is known about her backstory, other than that she is the leader of all Miko. But it is known that after Queen Himiko's demise, she became the protector of Sei'an.

Ōkamiden[]

When Chibiterasu came to Sei'an, the city was overrun by demons. After finding and teaming up with Kagu, they went to the Playhouse to get Kagu to an appointment of hers in time, but they discovered that the Playhouse was also infested by Demons. After Chibiterasu found Moegami's statue and was granted with Inferno, they searched the second floor of the Playhouse for audiences, in order to lure Sen and Ryo out for battle. When they came upon one of the rooms, Miko Cho was found. She encouraged Chibiterasu and Kagu in their endeavors, and after the battle was won and the Playhouse restored, she aided them in restoring the rest of Sei'an City (Commoner's Quarter) to its former beauty. After King Fury's defeat, she takes Kagu back to Queen Himiko's Palace to continue her Miko training.

Trivia[]

  • According to Samurai Dandy,[1] due to the political position and importance of miko, some of them have the possibility to be enthroned as the new queen of Sei'an City. Also, if this happens, then the Tao Troopers will be back in activity, because then there will be a person whom the special operatives serve to.

Characeristics[]

Miko Cho wears a long, golden kimono with a light blue okumi and cuffs, along with a traditional headdress with a long, silky veil along the back. She also wears a necklace with a green magatama, seemingly made of jade.

Miko Cho is a kindhearted, positive, and encouraging person, and currently trains promising children with the potential to become Miko.
