Description
Edit
The Cave of Nagi is a cave found at the end of the River of the Heavens. Inside is a large statue of Nagi holding up a sword (at the game's outset, this sword is missing and must be drawn by Amaterasu). This is also where the Power Slash technique is learned, and therefore where Tachigami's constellation is found. During the Kamiki Festival, Susano and Kushi can be found here.
There are two versions of the cave. The one through the River of the Heavens is a large stone cave with a hole in the ceiling. This is the cave where Amaterasu meets Tachigami. The other version of the cave exits in the normal realm of Nippon and is located at the base of Konohana. The statue Nagi is much smaller and there was a statue of Shiranui just outside the entrance until Sakuya used it to revive Amaterasu.
In Ōkamiden, the Cave's entrance to the normal realm of Nippon lies at the sacred deck in Kamiki, not at the base of Konohana. There's also an exit at the base of Nagi's statue in the cave where Chibiterasu meets the ko-Tachigami. This exit leads back to the Sacred Deck.
Demo
Edit
- Main article: Ōkamiden beta#Demo
The Ōkamiden demo released takes place at the Cave of Nagi, but is very different, with the notable differences listed here:
- The design is completely different.
- Bone Clams are fought here, however, they are never encountered here in the final release.
